of a real Mediterranean planting scheme.
Learn how to design your garden by working directly on your own space.
Over four private 2-hour online sessions, we will develop your garden together, step by step. Rather than receiving a finished design, you will learn how to observe your space, make the right choices and build your own garden concept with professional guidance.
The four sessions are scheduled according to our mutual availability.
How it works
Session 1
Understanding your garden
We start with your space and the way you want to live in it.
Together, we look at the existing garden, its opportunities and constraints, your lifestyle, needs and ideas.
We brainstorm the atmosphere you would like to create and start defining the identity and priorities of your future garden.
Session 2
Climate, landscape & plants
Before designing,
we learn to read the garden.
We look at sun and shade, orientation, climate, soil, water, existing vegetation and the surrounding landscape.
From there, we explore planting strategies and learn how to choose plants that are appropriate for your garden rather than simply beautiful in isolation.
Session 3
Designing your garden
Now we bring everything together.
We work directly on your plan to organise the different areas, circulation, planting zones, terraces or seating areas and other elements of the garden.
You will learn how to create a coherent layout and translate your ideas into an actual garden design.
Session 4
From design to reality
Finally, we turn the concept into an achievable project.
We review the design, discuss plant quantities and materials, establish an indicative purchasing budget and look at how to organise the implementation and planting of your garden.
Before we begin
You will be asked to prepare:

a basic plan or planimetry of your garden with approximate dimensions

photos and/or videos of the existing space
-
orientation, if known
-
any existing information about the site
-
a few references or images of gardens you love
Don't worry if you don't have professional drawings — we can work from a simple measured plan.
What you'll leave with
By the end of the four sessions, you will have a clear direction for your garden, an understanding of the principles behind your design, a developed garden layout and the knowledge to start bringing it to life yourself.
